We at the Burlington Historical Society are dedicated to restoring and preserving the iconic Elton Tavern and by now I’m sure you’ve seen the work taking place on the exterior of the building to replace rotting window trim and repaint the entire structure.

We’d like to thank our Town officials who have worked tirelessly with us to ensure this necessary restoration work is done and to preserve this local historic landmark. We welcome the public to visit and take a guided tour of the Elton Tavern this Tavern Day (Sept 15th) and to consider donating to this fundraiser so we can continue to support the restoration efforts inside the building as well.
